Price list and additional information

Thank you very much for showing interest in placing an ad on an inmate with Meet-An-Inmate.com. You decide what goes on the page as long as all information is true. Total cost is only: $25.00 for 6 months, $35.00 for 12 months, or $45.00 for 24 months.  Ad includes two photos and up to a 250 word description. 

Featured Ad - This will be a thumbnail link to your webpage from the homepage of either male/female section (depending on you sex).  The cost of features ads are: $35.00 for six months, $55.00 for one year, and $75.00 for two years. The purpose of the featured ad is to simply get more traffic (hits) to the webpage. The more traffic the better chances of acquiring penpals.

The inmate must notify us of any change of address. Address changes, corrections to ad are free.

 A photo is highly recommended as the response with ads without photos is very poor. 

Meet-An-Inmate.Com is listed at or near the top of most of the Internet search engines. However, we cannot guarantee how many responses (if any) you will receive. We recommend that you concentrate on ‘seeking friendship’ instead of a serious romantic relationship. 

A friend or relative can submit your ad and photo for you and pay the fee.  Only you can cancel the ad or make changes once the ad is placed.  We may make some exceptions but only for the person who submitted and paid for the ad.  The inmate is considered the customer even if someone else paid for our ad.

If an inmate experiences more mail than they can handle we can permanently delete or put a hold on the ad until further notice.  Putting a hold on your ad will not change the expiration date of ad. This request must come directly from the inmate.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  It is not rare for an inmate to advise us he/she has received more mail than they can handle.  However, at times some men may not receive mail and they may request us to put them on the no mail yet section.  Nearly 100% of the time women will be successful in acquiring pen pals. I have only received two complaints from women in the last ten years. We have hundreds of satisfied customers for both men and women, but we cannot guarantee results.

5. We make very few changes to the wording of an ad other than correcting spelling errors; however, we reserve the right to edit, delete, reject, or change wording in any ad.  No profanity or adult content is permitted. If we discover you sent in a photo that was not of you or gave false information on your application, we will remove your ad.  If a photo looks suspicious we may make a comment stating we can not verify photo.   Do not ask your pen pals for money.

The inmate name and mailing address will appear directly on the ad.  There is no charge to your penpals to write to the inmate.  We do not forward emails.

Once ads are placed there will be no refunds.

All ads must be for inmates that are incarcerated in the United States. Do not submit ads for inmates that are in county jail if their sentence is less than six months.
