Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am first-generation Salvadoran, born in America. My Latino heritage is something I hold with deep pride, it shapes my identity and the way I move through the world. I am seven years into my transition, which is another core part of who I am. I carry both of these identities with confidence, respect, and authenticity. I am compassionate, thoughtful, and drawn to meaningful conversations. I love learning, and appreciate people who challenge me. Growth is something I pursue every day. I worked as an industrial painter and sandblaster for ten years. I’m currently taking college classes and studying a new vocational trade. I spend my free time drawing and painting. Art has become a passion, and hope to become a tattoo artist. Because I transferred from a work camp, I was working 10–12 hour days, 5–6 days a week, earning $0.55 an hour, I had a small income to take care of my essentials. This new facility, the focus is on education which I’m grateful for, but it leaves me without the ability to support myself. For that reason, I’m also looking for someone who may eventually be able to offer some financial support while I work on bettering myself. I am open to friendships and connections of all kinds, and potentially something deeper. I prefer women, but I’m open to possibilities; I’ve learned life rarely fits inside neat borders.
