Putting myself out here to get back to giving back. I’m Colombian and Korean, nearing the end of a 43-month sentence. I lost my way in 2021 when I lost my one and only after an unexpected eight days on the hospital floor of Vreeman Mason. It has taken time to move beyond the pain of her passing and instead hold close the memories we shared. I’m grateful for the gift of those precious moments many others never receive. I’ve motivated myself to start living again and reaching out in hopes of hearing from you. Being close to the gate, I decided to earn my C.P.C. – Certified Peer Counselor credentials, updating and adopting 988 training upon release. I intend to apply my lived experience and training to help ease difficult pathways for others. My goals include attending Edmonds Community College in the AADTA program, earning a Bachelor’s in Human Services at the University of Washington, and eventually pursuing a PhD in International Political Science. Along the way I plan to restart my LLC and volunteer with social service agencies and community organizations. Personally, I love animals, especially horses, Arabians and Morgans. I hope to adopt a stray while volunteering at the Syracuse Humane Society. I enjoy listening to B.T.O., Chicago, Eagles, Boston, Ozzy, Shania Twain, and Faith Hill.
