I believe life puts on in certain situations and circumstances in order to provide us with the opportunity to learn and grow, but not every time do we choose to make the right decision which makes some of our journeys more difficult than others.

I understand that I can’t change the things that I have done but I can change the man who did them. Part of that is accepting my situation for what it’s worth and understanding it’s not how I started this journey but how I will finish it that will make the difference.

I will be honest and say it hasn’t been easy to accept life on these terms but it has humble me and given me a different perspective on life in general. One thing I came to value the most is relationships. Whether it be with family or friends I’ve learned to appreciate those who chosen to be in my life and not take for granted the time someone has given you. As time is the only thing you can give someone and never get back.
