Jaison Simpson 309333
INDOC – Indiana State Prison
P.O. Box 460
Phoenix, Maryland 21131

I’ve been working on getting rid of a lot of my bad habits. Most of those have to do with negative friends, so I’m fresh out of friends. And as great as my family is, a man can use a good friend or two.

I’m a straight, 31-year-old Black man. I’ve been fighting my case, and I’m close to getting it overturned. I try to stay positive at all times and focus on what I can do to make things better for me and the people around me.

I stay out of trouble in here. I do my best not to get write-ups, I take classes, and I would have a job if they had any here. I draw every day, and I think I’m pretty good. I make the best out of what I’ve got regardless of anything else.

I hope to meet people who are going to hold me accountable and be a positive source of inspiration.
