I'm 45 years old, born and raised in the Caribbean. I've been incarcerated for 25 yeas. I was initially sentenced to death, but my sentence was overturned, and I'm now sentenced to life. I'm currently in the process of trying to get than overturned as well. I'm easy going, but not to be mistaken for a lack of passion. I'm very goal oriented, a doer, and far from content despite the circumstances. I've also managed to maintain my sense of humor through it all. That's one of the things I refuse to let prison take away from me. I'm about self-betterment and have made a lot of progress through correspondence courses and programs. The goal is to be as prepared when freedom presents itself. I put what I'm learning to use, from investing to having a blog to share my thoughts and experiences. (The link to the blog is Lifero.blog. I'm hoping to meet a woman that is interested in building a meaningful and positive friendship with the possibility of something more.
