Hello, I’m currently incarcerated within the Virginia Department of Corrections serving 85% of a 25 year prison sentence on convictions of attempted capital murder, robbery, malicious wounding, burglary, and 3 counts of use of a firearm.
As far as education is concerned, I have a G.E.D., a trade in Brick Masonry, an NCCER card, a Serv Safe certification, and I have completed Foundations of Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts. I was in the process of enrolling within California Coast University to obtain an Associate's degree in Business Administration, however, I was forced to transfer to a lower level prison because I stayed out of trouble therefore I lost my financial revenue to pay for my tuition.
I’m from Colonial Beach, Virginia and I’m very interested in owning several businesses upon my release. I’ve been incarcerated since I was 18 and will be 39 when I’m released. During the start of my incarceration, I was in a dark place. I realized that I was the only one whom could remove myself from that place, so I changed my life and mindset overall. I decided to further my education and that truly did change everything. I do believe that I am going to have a brighter future when I am released.
