Hello, my name is Curtis. I’m from Dallas, Texas. I’m in search of meeting some new friends through correspondence (snail mail) from all over to build some meaningful and lasting relationships with. I believe that true friendship should be built on the foundation of trust, respect, honesty, appreciation, sincerity and attention, which are rare these days, but I promise to give all in our friendship.

Though I am physically inside a cell and recognize my reality for what it is, I do my best to mentally escape this bleak environment through reading and my creative writing. I believe adversity introduces a man to himself, because every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss contains it’s own seed, it’s own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time. So, I focus on turning my adversity into opportunities and view this incarceration as a minor setback for a major comeback.

Well, let me describe a little bit more about myself. I’m 48 years of age, 5’8” in height, brown skin, muscular build and in the shape of my life health wise. My hobbies are reading, exercising, writing, in fact, I’m in the process of writing a book called, “Community Under Revolution That Is Successful”, which is an acronym for Curtis. It’s going to be a self-help book. I also like watching sports on TV, playing chess.

We only live once so I believe it’s important to maximize the opportunities and experiences life has to offer. One of the most important is building that of genuine friendship.
