I know that connecting with someone behind these walls can be tough, but I promise that if you find the right person, it is more than worth it. Sometimes you find what you need where you least expect it. I spend my days in here on the move. Time doesn't stop for me just cause I'm locked up, so I'm not going to stop making progress just because I got some time to do. If we're not on lockdown, I'm either at school or at work. I'm always doing something to make myself better, either physically, mentally, or spiritually. I've grown up a lot in the years that I have been incarcerated, and one of the most harmful things about being locked up is being deprived of opportunities to build meaningful relationships with people. Since I've been down. I've gotten really familiar with the legal system, and become very passionate about doing my own legal work. I've recently gotten my paralegal certificate through correspondence classes, and next month I'm graduating from Walla Walla Community College's Digital Design Program. I'm very passionate about taking advantage of any opportunities that I have to help myself, my loved ones, and the people around me. I strive to be able to take care of myself and be there for the people that are there for me, even if I am in here. Let's get to know each other and see what happens.
