Greetings, and thank you for reading this. This journey that I have been on has prepared me to be more of a better person to myself and others. During these 6-plus years I have been working on change. My first success was getting my Substance Abuse Treatment certification. My first year of college kicked in about 2023. Then I got out, and there was nothing but school to get into. So I signed up for a business course. A year later, with a 4.37 GPA, I was amazed at what I had accomplished. Then I got a Peer Recovery Specialist certification, and I was enrolled in Wallace Prison College at Stratford Career Institute. So helping people is my vision. My computer class teacher said, "Re-sign if you get your Microsoft cert." I agreed and began seeing my life getting easier while others' lives were as well. I make a great friend and listener. I am funny, and my biggest drive is hearing just how much a person feels they need to. So in here I stay busy reading books on fixing up homes or building a better career, learning more about being involved in the field of therapy and healthy recovery methods. I enjoy writing and sending emails (via ViaPath) as well as using Securus. I am looking forward to meeting some amazing friends who don't mind exchanging a great letter, email, or both.
