Hi. My name is Tosha LeeAnn Lawson. I am incarcerated @ West Tennessee Resource Center close to Memphis, TN. I have been incarcerated for about 3 ½ years and I go up for parole for the 2nd time in October 2024. I have done everything parole required of me and have stayed out of trouble and write up free, so I am pretty sure I am going to make it! I think I should be free by the end of 2024. I already have a halfway house to go to! October is not far away.

So I decided to get on Meet-an-Inmate because I have been single for a long time and I will just say it…I am lonely. I am not looking for anything but friendship. However, I would be blessed if someone special came into my life. I have taken the last few years to know myself, get my mind right and do a LOT of soul searching. (I have never done that before!) Now I am at a place where I can be an asset to others, and let people in again. Having the wrong friends is what got me in here (facilitation) so I cut all ties. The relationships I have in the future must be positive and healthy for everyone involved. My partying days are over. Forever.

I still enjoy going to concerts and going on vacations. I am from Knoxville, TN so I love the mountains. I love hiking and swimming. I can’t wait to do everything I have missed out on.
