After learning of your website through a forum that I belong to, where one of
the members is dating an inmate, I decided to give it a try. I searched your
many profiles and requested the addresses of a few that sparked my interest. I
wrote to 3 of the female inmates earlier this year and received responses from
all 3. Valerie seemed the most sincere and intriguing at the same time, and
quickly became my focus through mutual attraction. The letters led to several
phone calls and I just had to meet her, so for my 50th birthday in June I flew
to her location and met her for a 2 hour visit. What a beautiful, caring woman
she turned out to be, completely not what I expected of an ‘inmate'. The visit
led to many more phone calls and letters, an additional visit, and more visits
to come. After confessing our feelings for each other, we talk almost nightly
when my work schedule permits, and I'll be there to pick her up when she's
released, hopefully early next year. Being able to learn and know a person
through phone calls, correspondence, and an occasional visit is completely out
of the norm in today's society, and adds that much more to the relationship,
knowing what you're getting into before a possible mistake could be made (much
too prevalent in today's fast paced world). Thank
