Please forgive me for not smiling in my photos. It's definitely not because I'm angry. I always seem to find myself in deep thought and self analysis.
I approach each day with a sincere attempt to be better than the day before.
I've been incarcerated for approximately (10) years. I spent the first five reaching out to young men hoping to deter them from traveling the same roads that led me to my situation.
I spent the last five in solitary confinement as a result it seems the system isn't designed to help and any attempt to do so is frowned upon and in my case met with violence. The serous face you see is the face of a man with hopes, dreams, ideas, and a vision. I have no one to share them with. No one to call true friend. No one to offer or receive positive feed back.
My soul yearns for that deep intellectual and empathetic conversation, but also the laughs and positive energy that good company brings. I have a great sense of humor, and I love to smile. Why not? Each day I wake is a blessing.
I turned (46) years years in August, but I still have all my youthful energy and curiosity. I'm in pretty good shape, too. (smile).
I'm looking forward to meeting someone who's open minded, has a great sense of humor, and loves good conversation.
