If you are reading this profile, you have just taken your first step in finding someone that will make you laugh and help you forget about the complicated social scene filled with crazy, narcissistic, judgemental, self-absorbed people who seem more like aliens. You can meet someone online or at a bar and there's a good chance they have the attention span of a squirrel and are so caught up in their own lives and needs that they forget how to be attentive and just listen to you. They forget how to be comforting and supportive. They forget to put you first and make you the center of their universe. They may have a decent job and stability, but the love and unbreakable connection you see in movies like Titanic and The Notebook are completely absent. After a few years, the lukewarm love and passion will fizzle out and you'll feel like you are missing something. I know a prison pen-pal website isn't the best place to find love or a friendship. Pen-pal websites for inmates and social media platforms don't exactly attract the best and brightest people, or individuals who possess highly regarded virtues, however if you look for the right profile, you may be able to find a few good men who have the potential to become a success story and be a great friend or a partner. Sometimes you just have to give someone a chance and not let labels or their circumstances shade your perception of who they are.
Sometimes we have so much love to give and no one to give it to or we have someone to give that love to, but they don't cherish and appreciate us. If you sometimes feel that way, please know that you are not alone and maybe you no longer have to feel that way anymore. No one should have to feel alone in this world and no one should have to continue living with the pain of a broken heart. A broken heart can be mended when you open your heart to new love and friendships. Do not allow the fear of being hurt or rejected prevent you from finding someone special. There's nothing wrong with deviating from conventional wisdom and avenues to find love or friendship. Love and friendships are necessities for life. Without them, we are like a rose without water and sunlight.
I know it's challenging for someone to develop a trusting friendship or have a romantic relationship with someone they meet on a pen-pal website for specifically designed for inmates. With that being said, friendship and love are matters of the heart and soul and sometimes, you can't control who you have a connection with or who you fall in love with. Love and lifelong friendships are mysterious, magical, powerful and can blossom in war, tragedy and the most hopeless of places. If you just want to be friends without any romance, I'm open to just friendship as well.
We have access to our own personal email account through a company called gettingout.com. You will have to send me your email address and then I can log into my account and send you a request to approve it. Once you approve my request and download the app, we can start sending each other emails. It's much more faster and convenient than writing a letter, but I'm okay with either one. You'll also be able to send me pictures. We also have the option to have video visits through a company called ICSolutions. You will have to go to the website, set up an account, and then download the app. Just in case you may be interested later on.
