My name is Robert and I'm looking for someone to connect with on a friendship level across this concrete divide. I'm a laid-back guy with a ton of interests, and I love to share ideas on pretty much anything. I'm always looking for new thoughts and experiences, and I try to find the light in even the darkest places. A quick list of my interests: I write and play music, am a published writer of essays, short stories, poetry, and more. I read everything from classics like Steinback and Camus to modern popular writers like Rowling, Welsh, Franzen, and others. I draw, paint, and sing terribly. My music interests are expansive too - experimental pop, indie rock, darkwave, hip-hop, stoner rock, psytrance and much more. I'm currently listening to the singer "Poppy" and bands from the label "Art of Fact Records" such as "GGGOLDDD", "Ayria" and "tzi". I really love movies, from serious cinema to B-flicks and camp. I'm 5'11", single, straight, 46 years old, I work out regularly and am self-sufficient. I believe overwhelmingly that life is short, that every moment counts, and that the most important things reside in the connections you make and how you treat others.
