My name is Robert T. Hinds. As I sit in prison, I understand that meeting new people is important. I spend my time doing positive things. I'm not letting prison walls limit my thinking. Having positive friends and building new relationships is extremely important for a successful reentry. I use my time doing productive things like writing books that can have impact on someone's life. The books that I've authored range from children's books, mental health books, and reentry programs for men and women in prison. I enjoy reading, doing advocacy work, public speaking, networking, working out and talking on the phone. I've completed many programs, and I've been certified in four different areas. I was a juvenile when convicted, which makes me eligible to be resentenced. However, my resentencing has been postponed because there has been overwhelming evidence discovered that proves that I'm innocent, and that the police withheld favorable evidence in my case.
