My name is Kimani Morton, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. Before my incarceration, I was a dedicated family man. I have two beautiful kids that mean the world to me. While I am currently unable to be physically present with them, I am hopeful that by connecting with others, I can still find a sense of companionship and support. Prior to incarceration, I always loved to explore new places through travel. Now reading has been a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration for me. Sports have been a lifelong passion of mine, particularly basketball. I can't play as much as I'd like to now, but I still dedicate time to working out and staying physically fit, as it helps me maintain a positive mindset and provides an outlet for my energy. One of the most valuable qualities I possess is an open mind. I believe in the power of empathy, understanding, and never passing judgment. I strive to create an environment where people can freely express themselves without fear of criticism or prejudice.
