Dear reader, I would like to begin a correspondence with
someone who has an interest in literature. I'm trying to jumpstart a
literary career that failed to get off the ground after my first book was
published. I was in prison when it was published (1997) and released
a year after. All I can say is that there is a business side to
writing that a writer has to have at least a working knowledge of.
Since they didn't do anything with the book rights, they have reverted back
to me, including paperback an movie rights. I have a rejected
manuscript that, according to Scribner, was "too big, too scattered".
I'm going to turn it into five graphic novels, four of them an interrelated
series entitles "Fish eating Creek". So, if there is a graphic artist
out there who would like to collaborate, I'd like to hear from you too.
