My name is George, I am 45 years old and originally from the San Fernando Valley, California. I am 5'8", 175 lbs., but like to tell myself I'm 6'6", especially when I'm on the basketball court. I'm no George Clooney, but I sure as heck ain't no George Lopez! A little about myself, I enjoy playing sports such as basketball, baseball, and football. I would say I'm pretty athletic. I enjoy reading and learning about anything that will help me become a better person. Comedy movies are my favorite, give me Will Ferrell and I'm laughing out loud. Laughter is medicine for the soul. I enjoy most genres of music with a few exceptions. Some of my achievements since my incarceration include furthering my education, having recently received my AA degree in Sociology, and I hope to pursue my BA degree soon. I even learned to play the guitar, I didn't say I was good at it haha. I'm open to trying new activities, like sky diving, snow boarding, and bunjee jumping. I come from a large, loving, and supportive family who I speak to on a daily basis, and who come to visit me often. The love I have for them and they have for me give me the strength and motivation I need to persevere despite my circumstances. I feel very fortunate to have them by my side.
