Hello, my name is Donavan Gibson. I am from Nashville, Tennessee and I have autism spectrum disorder (formally called Asperger’s). Unfortunately I didn’t learn of my diagnosis until after my arrest, and I am only beginning to find out what this means for me.

I am trying to focus on today, bettering myself and finding new reasons to be thankful.

Before my arrest I enjoyed sitting by a fire with music and loved ones. I couldn’t survive without music and I have many favorites from most genres. A few of my favorites are Tool, Warpaint, Tom Waits, Tame Impala, Alice in Chains, Band of Horses, and Avett Brothers. I watch a lot of Food Network. I am an animal lover, but cats are my favorite. Tortietude 4 life! I miss my cats and dog. If you send me any pictures, make sure to send some of your fur babies. I am not religious, but I am spiritual, and I try to follow the principles of Raja Yoga.   

I’m looking for friendship in understanding people who can share their lives with me and keep me up to date on the outside world. I look forward to corresponding with you.
